Holiday Depot applications will start in October for holidays

LAPEER COUNTY — Holiday Depot of Lapeer County, a collaborative effort helping local families in need, is accepting applications from low-income residents who are hoping for help during the upcoming holidays for food and gifts.

No applications will be accepted without a driver’s license or ID, birth certificates for all household members and proof of all household income for the past 30 days.

Holiday Depot applications in October will only be accepted in person. Walk-ins are welcome at the times/dates listed below.

• Columbiaville United Methodist Church, 4696 Pine St. in Columbiaville: Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, 24 from 1-3 p.m.;

• Clifford Library, 9530 Main St. in Clifford: Thursday, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26 from 2-4 p.m.;

• Dryden Linked Hearts, 5595 Main St. in Dryden: Monday, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 from noon to 3 p.m.; and Wednesday, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 7191 E. Imlay City Rd. in Imlay City: Wednesday, Oct. 11 and Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;

• First Presbyterian Church, 433 N. Calhoun in Lapeer: Tuesday, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 from noon to 3 p.m.; and Tuesday, Oct. 24 from 6-8 p.m.;

• Hispanic Service Center, 204 E. 3rd St. in Imlay City: Wednesday, Oct. 11, 25 from 5-7 p.m.;

• Holiday Depot Gift Center, 110 Park St. in Lapeer: Saturday, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Trinity United Methodist Church, 1310 N. Main in Lapeer: Monday, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
