Knights of Columbus host Polish dinner on Saturday

LAPEER — The Knights of Columbus are hosting a Polish dinner on Sunday (Feb. 19) from 3-7 p.m. The “Heat Up Lapeer” fundraising dinner will benefit the St. Vincent dePaul Society and proceeds will help Lapeer area families with utility needs during the winter months.

The Polish dinner is being held Sunday at Bishop Kelley Catholic School in the downstairs community room. Tickets cost $15 and children ages 5-12 cost $8. For tickets, visit the Immaculate Conception Parish Rectory or call Vince at 810-664-8909 or Max at 810-664-7874.

Pasties for sale this month

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City Christian School is once again taking orders for the famous Lawry’s U.P. Pasties, now through Feb. 22. The pasties will be available for pick-up at the school on Monday, March 5 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The 12 ounce pasties are filled with beef, potaoto, onion, carrot and rutabaga.

The cost is $5 each or a package of 10 for $47.50. All orders must be placed by Wednesday, Feb. 22. To place an order, call Imlay City Christian School at 810-724-5695.
