RALPH G. SAGER

RALPH G. SAGER, 83, of Lapeer, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Ralph was born in Freelandville, Indiana, on October 25, 1928, son of the late Gustav and Edith (Kettlehut) Sager. He married Jaccia Mooney on April 7, 1951.

Ralph proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a part of the Screaming Eagles. He was a member of Elba United Methodist Church, Davison VFW Post #4087, the American Legion and a Life Member of the NRA. Ralph retired from GT& E of Davison. He enjoyed life to the fullest!

Ralph is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jaccia; daughters, Sue (Ron) Forys, Lynn (John) Hartwick, Beth (Boots) Sager and Gina (Christian) Gibbs; grandchildren, Amanda, Megan, Emily, Jason, Jennifer, Josh, Ricci and Jessie; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jason Jr., Coryn, Cameron and Izzy; brother, Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elba United Methodist Church or Hometown Hospice.

A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Dawn Memorial Cemetery.
