LUCILLE ESTHER SUUPPI

LUCILLE ESTHER SUUPPI, 73, a lifetime resident of Lapeer, died Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was born October 13, 1938, in Brown City, daughter to Allison and Margaret (Storey) Wilcox.

Lucille graduated from Lapeer High

School, class of 1957.

She was a member of Country Christian Church and a longtime former member of the Deerfield Church of Christ. Lucille enjoyed making birthday and greeting cards. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Suuppi of Lapeer; children, Mary Ann (Mike) Ruhlman of North Branch, Bill (Lisa) Suuppi of Lapeer; five grandchildren, Dan, Joshua, Charlene, Curtis, Corie; three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Sara Grace; and three brothers, James (Vernita) Wilcox of Pickford, Charles (Sharon) Wilcox of Sterling and Ralph (Angie) Wilcox of Myrtle Beach.

Lucille was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard “Doc” Wilcox, Lyle Wilcox, Freddy Wilcox; great grandson, Isaiah Gibson; and her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Lucille’s funeral was held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Country Christian Church. Ministers, Roger Keur, Paul St. Louis and Spencer Shelton officiated. Burial was in Stiles Cemetery, Lapeer.
