ILEATHA F. CROTTEAU, NEE POWELL

ILEATHA F. CROTTEAU, NEÈ POWELL, 89, a lifetime resident of Lapeer, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012.

She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved camping and fishing in Canada with her family and traveling the world. Ileatha was bowling into her 70’s and golfing into her 80’s.

She is survived by her sons, Pete (Linda) Crotteau of Cooks, MI, Bob (Cecelia) Crotteau of Houston, TX; daughter, Carolynn Perry of Lapeer; 8 loving grandchildren and 8 loving great grandchildren; brother, Gerry (Mary) Powell of Lapeer; sisters, Virginia (Harold) Cook of Lapeer, Rose (Bruce) Middleton of Holly, Susann (the late, Kenneth) Geoit of Lapeer; also many nieces and nephews.

Memorials to Children’s Hospital of Michigan or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are greatly appreciated.

Funeral will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home Capstick Chapel, 542 Liberty Park Lapeer, MI 48446. Pastor Gary Perria will be officiating. Arrangements for cremation will follow. Friends may visit on Thursday at 11:00 am until time of service.
