Fuel Up to Play 60

Photo provided LAPEER — Imlay City Christian School recently received a grant from the Detroit Lions called “Fuel Up to Play 60.” With the athletic program, the students at Imlay City Christian have been specifically recording their physical activity each day, writing down which and how many fruits and vegetables they eat, recording if they eat breakfast every day and having breakfast at the school every Monday.

The funds from the grant allowed the students to go to the Polar Palace in Lapeer and skate for an hour on Friday, Feb. 10. The students then each signed their name on a banner provided through the grant for the Fuel Up program and gathered in front of it for a group photo.
